Frying the bananas takes about five minutes, so do it while the oats are cooking, and two birds are down. Smart. FRIED BANANA OAT BOWL
Ingredients: 1 banana-sliced, 1 tsp. coconut oil, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 cup cooked old-fashioned oats, 1 Tbsp. almond butter, whole pecans, 1 tsp. honey, 1/2 tsp. chia seeds
1. Heat the coconut oil over medium-high heat until it is hot and melted. Add the banana and cinnamon, and fry until both sides are crispy and brown. Turn frequently.
2. Spoon cooked oats into a bowl, add the fried bananas and pecans around the rim and the almond butter to the center. Scatter the chia seeds and drizzle the perimeter with honey. Eat.
