This oat breakfast is more like dessert, yet without the guilt. The fried bananas are reminiscent of bananas foster, and make this bowl so tasty and special. Frying the bananas takes about five minutes, so do it while the oats are cooking, and two birds are down. Smart. The honey drizzle around the inside rim of the bowl pulls the flavors together and ensures you will enjoy every mouthful.

"When you cook your oats, add a pinch of salt to the boiling water. The salt doesn't make the oats salty, but brings out their grainy, nutty flavor."

Notes: Almond butter is Justin's.

Ingredients: 1 banana-sliced, 1 tsp. coconut oil, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 cup cooked old-fashioned oats, 1 Tbsp. almond butter, whole pecans, 1 tsp. honey, 1/2 tsp. chia seeds

Serves 1

1. Heat the coconut oil over medium-high heat until it is hot and melted. Add the banana and cinnamon, and fry until both sides are crispy and brown. Turn frequently.

2. Spoon cooked oats into a bowl, add the fried bananas and pecans around the rim and the almond butter to the center. Scatter the chia seeds and drizzle the perimeter with honey. Eat.
