Soothing, warm, healthful. This drink will help you drift off to sleep, or feel cared for when under the weather.

"Sometimes I need more than hot tea. This infusion of turmeric warms me up from the inside out and is a fantastic de-stressor."

Notes: Turmeric powder can be purchased in the spice aisle at the market, or in bulk, online.


Ingredients: 1 tsp. turmeric, 1 tsp. to 1 Tbsp. honey, juice of one lemon, 6-8 oz. very hot water.

1. Combine turmeric, honey, and lemon in a mug and stir together to make a paste.

2. Slowly add very hot water and continue stirring to combine. Sip and relax.

Tip: You can add warm milk instead of water, but I don't recommend it if you are congested.
