I won't lie and say I eat chocolate everyday for breakfast. When I get to though, the day always seems to turn out magical. This beauty bowl is inspired by that notion and is healthier than your standard waffles and bacon. This recipe will change your mornings, your attitude, and quite possibly your life--at least as far as breakfast goes.

"Bananas need overnight to freeze well, so slice them up and chuck them into a baggie the night before you want to make this. "

Notes: Kefir is Lifeway. Cocoa powder is Tollhouse.


Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups frozen banana slices, 1/4 cup vanilla Kefir, 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder, 1 tsp. honey, 1/4 cup plain granola, small handful whole pecans, 1 tsp. grated dark chocolate,1 tsp. caramel sauce (opt.)

Serves 1

1. Put a bowl in the freezer. Meanwhile, blitz the frozen banana, Kefir and cocoa in a food processor or blender until smooth.

2. Remove bowl from freezer and spoon in the banana mixture.

3. Decorate the top with granola, pecans, chocolate shavings, and a mini drizzle of caramel sauce.

Tip: You can omit the caramel sauce and the bowl still tastes amazing!
