OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIE PROTEIN BALLS

Oh my. These 100% taste like an oatmeal raisin cookie, with half of the effort expended to make them and a kick of protein. You can't NOT make them...keep them in the fridge and pop into your mouth before or after workouts, for breakfast, for a snack, for anytime. They are unbelievably good. I'm admitting now that I have hidden them in my refrigerator - selfish of me - but sorry, not sorry.

"I used golden raisins which are my fave, of course, any old raisin variety will do."

Notes: Speculoos Cookie Butter is Trader Joe's. Vanilla protein powder is Garden of Life.

OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIE PROTEIN BALLS

Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 cup Speculoos Cookie Butter, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. honey, pinch of salt, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder.

Makes about 16.

1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor. (Or a large bowl if you prefer to use a mixer.) Process until combined and mixture is sticking together.

2. Use a tablespoon to measure out each ball, roll. You may have to press the mixture in your fist first, before rolling.

3. Store covered in the refrigerator.
