True story. And she loved this garnet-hued pom margarita made like a martini. It's fruity and strong, with a husky-smooth aftertaste-- perfect for sipping as the autumnal sun sets or with a good friend.

"I used "Just Pomegranate" juice and had to up the agave a tad - it's really tart!"

POMEGRANATE 'MARGARTINI'
Ingredients: 100% agave tequila, triple sec, pomegranate juice, agave nectar, 1/2 lime, ice, red and white decorator's sugar.
Makes 1.
Method:
1. Run the cut end of the lime around the rim of a margarita or martini glass. Dip the glass into sugar.
2. Add ice, 1 generous shot of tequila, 1 shot Triple Sec and 2 shots of pomegranate juice into a shaker. Also add 1 tsp. agave nectar and the juice of 1/2 lime. Shake!
3. Pour into glass and garnish with a lime wheel and/or pomegranate seeds.
