THIS for fall.
Margaritas that taste like the winter months and still give you a little Mexi-zing. Everyone who knows me understand that I will never turn down a margarita (and chips and salsa for that matter). I love how simple this recipe is and how freaking pretty! You can make this by the batch too- and when people arrive over the holidays- if you are keeping to the immediate fam- whichever, honestly, just pour a glass at the start of night and the night will go swimmingly well. Notes: Cranberry juice is 100% juice, no extra sugar added.
CRANBERRY ORANGE MARGARITA
Ingredients: 100% pure agave tequila, Cointreau, 100% Cranberry Juice, cut fresh cranberries, sliced orange, ice. Rim: 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. pink sea salt, zest of 1 orange.
Makes 1.
Method:
1. Run the cut end of the orange around the rim of a low-ball glass, dip the glass into the salty, zesty sugar. Fill glass with ice.
2. Add a few halved cranberries to the glass. Pour over 1 generous shot of tequila, 1 shot Cointreau, and 2 shots of cranberry juice.
3. Stir, garnish with an orange wedge.
