Here's one for steamy summer nights or anytime you want to feel like summer!
I think peach and strawberries together, are one of the best fruit combinations...both fruits are sweet and tangy with a subtle fermented note that's made more pronounced with alcohol. Add the classic margarita booze and a tasty rim, and you've got a delish cocktail made with next-to-no effort.
Make it a blended marg by blitzing the fruit, agave, lime juice, booze, ice, and OJ together until smooth.
Notes: Tequila is Patron.
STRAWBERRY PEACH MARGARITA
Ingredients: 4 large strawberries, 1/2 sliced peach, skin removed, 2 tbsp. agave nectar, juice of 1/2 lime, 1.5 ounces silver tequila, 1-ounce triple sec, orange juice, 1 tbsp. pink sea salt, 1 tbsp. sugar
Makes 1.
1. Quickly pulse the strawberries, peach, agave nectar, and lime juice together in a food processor or blender. Leave it chunky.
2. Run a piece of cut strawberry or peach around the rim of a short glass and dip it into a mixture of sea salt and sugar.
3. Add 1/2 cup of the puree into the bottom of the glass. Pour in tequila and triple sec. Stir lightly. Add ice to the top, followed by a splash of orange juice.
4. Garnish with pieces of strawberry and peach.
